[Van der Linde Jartausend 141 (misdated 1776)] -- [Robert LAMBE] The History of Chess together with short and plain instructions, London: for J. Wilkie and G. Frier, 1765, 8° in 4's, second edition, folding letterpress table (inner margins wormed), contemporary half calf (upper cover detached). [VDL 1457] -- François André Danican PHILIDOR. Analysis of the Game of Chess ... a new edition, [the first edition to be enlarged by Philidor], London: for P.
