the former silver-gilt and of shaped oval form, die-stamped with rococo flowers, foliage and C-scrolls, the domed hinged cover engraved with a monogram, Gorham - 5in. (12.75cm.), the oval tea caddy decorated with 18th Century style figures in horse-drawn sleighs and with peasants harvesting grapes, the dished cover with artichoke finial, the caddy spoon bowl cast with three figures, the handle with boat terminal, the latter piece bearing import marks for London 1919.
