A George III cream jug
of part-fluted inverted pear shape and on a shaped circular rising foot, with a punch-beaded rim and leaf-capped double scroll handle, the body chased with rural vignettes of a swan on a lake, a cottage in the background, and of a fox lurking near a farm yard, the front with a cartouche later-chased with flowers, apparently with no maker's mark, London 1779 - 4½in (10.25cm.)
