A pair of Minton bleu celeste ground plates
painted in the manner of W. S. Coleman with a naked girl trying to catch a butterfly, and a boy in blossoming branches, the borders enamelled in white with scrolling foliage between seeded and raised gilt patterned bands below a key pattern and gilt dentil rim, impressed marks, printed globe and retailer's marks for T. Goode & Co., year cyphers for 1882 (some very minor wear to gilt) -- 24.3cm. diam.
