A Coalport dark blue ground part dessert service painted in the manner of John Plant and Ted Ball with vignettes of river and lake views, each titled to the reverse, within hexagonal panels gilt with C-scrolls and trailing leaves, the borders gilt with scrolls and sprigs below gilt gadrooned wells, comprising: two two handled shaped oval dishes and six plates, printed marks, earcly 20th century (one plate chipped to underside of rim, slight wear)
