A Sèvres style dark blue ground two handled oviform vase and cover painted with a dancing maiden holding a tambourine, and putti, within lobed gilt and turquoise 'jewelled' panel issuing leaves and flowers, the reverse with a bouquet in similar panel, the lower section moulded in white and gilt with band of acanthus, imitation Sèvres mark, late 19th century (finial broken and restored, some jewels and rings of handles lacking, wear) -- 42.5cm. high
