A George III oil and vinegar cruet
of boat shape and with two reeded scroll handles with foliate terminals, standing on openwork bracket feet and with tapering openwork holders, each containing a cut glass vase-shaped condiment bottle with engraved mount and reeded scroll handle, the covers engraved with crests and with foliate thumb pieces, bearing maker's initials only struck three times, Wakelin & Taylor, London circa 1790 - length of cruet 10¾in. (27.50cm.) overall.
