A German majolica circular plaque probably Ernst Teichert, moulded in high relief with Cupid seated among the branches of a tree feeding scraps to chicks in a nest from the tip of his arrow, the border moulded with masks and a bowls of fruit, impressed marks. late 19th century (minor chip to figure) -- 43.5cm. diam.
