A famille rose octagonal jardiniere painted with panels of birds and butterflies in flight among peonies, chrysanthemums and lotus below smaller panels of hydrangea, daisies and further peonies, the neck with floral carthouches on geometric, foliage and cracked ice grounds -- 11¾in. (30cm.) wide, 18th Century; and a late jardiniere with birds among pomegranates and peonies, the interior with fish among aquatic weeds -- 18½in. (47cm.) diam.
