THE FOLLOWING SEVEN LOTS WERE THE FORMER PROPERTY OF CAPTAIN JENS NEILSON, A CABIN BOY C. 1900 WHO ROSE THROUGH THE RANKS TO BECOME MASTER OF THE GRACE LINE 'SANTA ROSA'. THE COLLECTION WAS STARTED C. 1920 AND TOTALLING SOME 1,800 PHOTOGRAPHS. HE WAS A FRIEND OF FRANK BEKEN AND DIED 1967/68.
