A well detailed and presented 125:1 scale model of the White Star Liner R.M.S. 'Titanic' built by D. Whitty with masts, derricks, aerials and rigging, anchors, spare anchor, capstans, valves, fairleads, bollards, deck winches, hatches, deck rails, companionways, glazed superstructure with bridge, passenger accomodation, engine room lights, stayed funnels with ladders, safety valve extension pipes, hooters, ventilators and fans, pipework, passenger seats and chairs, aft bridge with helm and telegraphs, eighteen lifeboats in davits, two ship's boats with thwarts in davits and many other details. The hull with riveting, access doors and portholes and finished in White Star livery is fitted with bilge keels, three shafts with three and four blade propellors, rudder and simulated planked deck and mounted on two turned wood columns -- 27 x 82in. (68.5 x 208.3cm.). Mahogany framed glazed case and stand -- 73¼ x 95in. (186 x 241.3cm.)
