Provenance
Sold with a letter entitled Relics of Her Majesty Queen Victoria Empress of India God Bless & Keep Her always. Bought by the vendor's father during World War II on the Isle of Wight from the sale of the the estate of the receipient of the letter in 1908. The author of the letter presumably worked at Osborne. The shoes are said to have belonged to the Princess Royal, the other items to Queen Victoria
