A Victorian candelabrum centrepiece
on a scroll-decorated trefoil base applied with three putti, one holding a fishing net, the other with a bird, the last with a hunting horn, the baluster stem decorated with grotesque beast's masks with later pendant game and fish and with openwork scrolling foliate mounts leading to a fluted cylindrical column, with four elaborate branches holding sconces and with a central bowl holder bearing a frosted clear glass fruit bowl cut with a frieze of foliage, the branches with pendant chains, the underside of one of the feet engraved with a diamond patent registration mark - 27½in. (70cm.)
