with associated cover, the former of tapering circular form and on a skirted foot, with a moulded body band and rim and scroll handle scratch-engraved with initials, the front engraved with a crest, the domed cover with scroll thumb piece, the mug maker's initials probably B.N., London 1722, the cover with indecipherable marks - 6¾in. (17cm.) overall, 24oz.
