the case with swan handle urn surmount to the breakarch top, with foliate cast scroll supports to the sides, on breakfront base with porcelain panel to the front and toupie feet, the dial with individual Roman chapters and scene of swans painted to the centre, similar scene to a panel below, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell, stamped HY MARC and numbered 1832 on the backplate, French, last quarter 19th century -- 13½in. (34.5cm.) high
