the case with brass pineapple finials to the arched top, pierced foliate and shell mounts to the front and flanked by Corinthian columns, on stepped rectangular base with foliate cast feet, the silvered and engraved dial with rings in the arch for regulation, chime/silent and Westminster/full chimes, with engraved leafy spandrels to the Roman chapter ring and signature to the centre Bobell HASTINGS, the three chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, chimes on eight bells and hour strike on gong; mouldings detached to case, corrosion to movement --
