the case with breakarch hood with fret-carved cornice, arched glazed side panels and brass stop-fluted outset columns, with breakarch trunk door above the block plinth, the brass dial with calendar ring to the arch within dolphin spandrels, silvered chapter ring (rubbed) with foliate and mask spandrels, matted centre with subsidiary seconds and silvered plaque signed Jno. Roberts & Sam. Duncan St James's, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; adaptations, associated -- 92in. (233cm.) high
