Landscape and architectural studies including in India - Agra, Delhi, Benares, China, Lucknow, Kashmir (1), a rural scene in Bengal, panorama of Calcutta (Bourne); Ceylon - a Buddhist temple, the Pavilion and garden in Kandy, a cactus study and a Singhalese landscape; Burma - temple studies (4); Chinese river views and temples; Japanese landscapes including a panoramic view of Yokohama; Egypt and the Fountain of Sultan Mohamed in Constantinople. A few portraits include a study titled 'Itinerant sewing woman', this image published in The Far East magazine, 1878; an Indian woman and her child, an Indian servant, a Fakir, a group portrait of officers from the Abyssinian Campaign and H.M's 88th Regiment at Agra.
