A tapering oviform vase moulded in high and shallow relief and painted and gilt with iris flowers, leaves and buds on a ground of scattered mon and swirling waters, the shoulder with a petal shaped collar of dense foliage and geometric designs, the foot with stylised cloud scrolls on a dark blue ground above a band of stiff leaves -- 11¼in. (28.5cm.) high, sealed Kinkozan.
