A pair of 12-inch diameter table globes made up of twelve delicately coloured paper gores, the terrestrial showing the tracks of de la Perouse, Captain Cook, Vancouver and other navigators and adventurers (the terrestrial with extensive damage, some area loss, many cracks, the celestial with some cracks and surface abrasions), both globes with engraved brass hour circles, meridian rings, printed horizon circles, on ebonised mahogany stands, the baluster-turned legs united by stretchers (both stands defective) -- 17½-inches (44.5cm.) high
