inlaid in mother-of-pearl, tortoiseshell and stained ivory with a cockerel and hen among shrubs, the reverse with a butterfly above flowering peonies -- 3½.in (8.9cm) long, signed Masamitsu on a mother-of-pearl tablet; attached inlaid ivory ojime with insects.
