A Momoyama style lacquer shaped rectangular stand
on four scrolling feet, inlaid in mother-of-pearl and decorated in gold lacquer with panels of birds among flowers interspersed with geometric cartouches above a further band of flowers to the sides, the base similarly decorated -- 14½.in (36.9cm) high, probably 18th Century, (old wear).
