A pair of Chinese reverse glass paintings one depicting boys wading in a river and men carrying baskets and fishing on a riverbank before a pavilion in a mountainous tree strewn landscape; the other with figures in boats before storehouses and pavilions in walled gardens in a further mountainous landscape strewn with trees among rockwork on grassy slopes -- each 16in. x 22¾in. (40.6cm x 57.7cm), circa 1800, wood frames.
