A Hirado blue and white model of a lantern with stepped base, tapering stand with moulded coiled dragon, reticulated square case and sloping roof with pointed finial, the base painted with figures on a grassy slope among willow before a waterfall and pavilions in a tree strewn river landscape, the roof with cranes in flight -- 16¼in. (41.2cm) high, inscribed to base interior, (finial restored, base cracked).
