A large Imari charger painted and gilt to the centre with a jardinniere of peonies and chrysanthemums on a fenced terrace within a border of similar flowers among the Three Friends below cloud scrolls, the underside with trailing flowers -- 22 5/8in. (57.5cm) diam, circa 1680, (minor gilt rubbing).
