A pair of Imari dishes painted and gilt with a vase of peonies and trailng blossoming branches on a fenced terrace, all within borders of further peonies, chrysanthemums and hydrangea -- 11¼in. (28.5cm) diam, circa 1700, (slight gilt rubbing).
