A late Ming blue and white broad oviform jar and domed cover painted with shaped panels of flowering peonies and chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork alternating with ruyi heads below oval cartouches of peach sprays -- 20in. (50.8cm) high, anli, (finial replaced, chipped and cracked to neck).
