A Fukugawa slender tapering baluster vase with short slightly everted neck, painted and gilt with swirling panels of ho-o in flight among scrolling foliage, and scattered peony sprays and wisteria on geometric grounds, the neck with lappet panels of stylised kiku heads and further peonies -- 18¼in. (46.5cm) high, blue bud mark.
