Monty Python
A typescript letter, signed, 9 Grove Park, London, S.E.5 from Terry Jones to a fan, telling him ...I'm sorry I've been such a long time...returning your book...we've only just finished the film [Monty Python And The Holy Grail]...I'm glad you like the Fegg book...We'd intended it as a kid's book to be sold in the children's dept. but Methuen were a bit greedy... adding an autograph postscript ..Oh I just noticed the odd signature is William Hardcastle's as I got the others (except Mike) to sign while we were doing the In Vision programme and Bill Hardcastle looked a bit left out of it... 1p accompanied by a book The Brand New Monty Python Book, signed on the fly leaf by Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Bill Hardcastle and Terry Gillingham and inscribed To Michael from Monty Python; a sheet of paper signed and inscribed Love to Blackpool, John Cleese and To all on the golden mile with best wishes Michael Palin; and a callsheet for Monty Python And The Holy Grail, May 28th, 1974 (4)
