THE OPENING OF TOWER BRIDGE 1894
A bronze medal, the obverse depicting the co-joined heads of Queen Victoria and the Prince and Princess of Wales, the reverse with a view of the Tower Bridge with the Bascules up, and a vessel passing through, in leather case stamped in gilt "In Commemoration of the Opening of the Tower Bridge by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, K.G.. On behalf of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria, On the 30th June, 1894." [Eimer, no. 1790].
With two other commemorative medals, one for the Palais de L'Industrie, the other for the erection of a statue of Corneille at Rouen in 1834, and a miniature Legion d'Honneur medal with ribbon. (4)
