Autograph letter signed ("Rudyard Kipling") to R. Bucknill, 2 pages, 8vo, Savile Club, 101 Earls Court Rd, 14th February 1891, complaining about his chambers (torn on folds, hole affecting one word).
"I am already some fifteen or twenty pounds out of pocket owing to to the condition of the chambers forcing me to go away ... I, being a man of peace endured patiently. Surely ... you might have a little consideration for one tenant whose health has suffered."
