A George III three-piece tea service
of moulded oval form and on rim bases, each decorated with a frieze of broad vertical flutes and a frieze of narrower vertical flutes, with gadrooned everted rims, the teapot with part-fluted rising curved spout, part-fluted domed hinged cover with oval ivory finial and later bracket handle, the milk jug and sugar basin gilt-lined, Robert & Samuel Hennell, London 1807 and 1808, the teapot handle with later hallmarks - height of teapot 6in. (15.25cm.), 39.25oz. gross.
