A George IV silver-gilt christening mug
of campana shape and on a rocaille-chased shaped circular foot, the body also chased with a broad frieze of rocaille decoration, a narrower trailing vine frieze below, with floral and foliate-decorated scroll handle, in a later plush-lined fitted case applied with a cartouche with presentation inscription, probably Henry Lias, London 1827 - 4in. (10cm.), 5.25oz.
