The following four lots belonged to Alice Haydon (1863-1956) who lived in the Lake District near Ulswater in a house called Summerhill. According to the family these doilys were given to Alice by Beatrix Potter. We are grateful to Anne Hobbs and Judy Taylor for their help in cataloguing these lots.
