With blade of flattened hexagonal section with central fuller containing an inscription on each face of the forte, one inlaid in latten, the iron hilt of slender bars (repairs) comprising guard of seven rings, slightly swelling writhen quillons, faceted globular pommel incised with a lion-mask on each side, and writhen wire-bound wooden grip 45½in. (115.6cm.) blade
