With three-stage barrel flared at the muzzle, signed at the breech, and engraved with acanthus foliage, rounded lock with 'GR' crowned, the tail signed Jordan and dated 1743, Continental full stock inlaid with brass wire scrollwork, engraved brass mounts including trigger-guard with acorn finial, and brass-tipped ramrod, London proof marks and maker's mark
