With octagonal sighted barrel cut with seven grooves, the breech with copper-lined mark, signed in gold on the top flat, and inlaid with gold strapwork at the muzzle and breech, associated flat bevelled lock (top jaw screw and cock-retaining screw replaced) chiselled with trophies of arms against a gilt ground, cock en suite, walnut full stock carved with rococo ornament (repaired around lock), butt with cheek-piece (patch-box cover replaced), full brass mounts cast and chased with stags and hinds in landscapes, all within rococo ornament and foliage, set trigger, later brass fore-end cap, and later ramrod
