A TUSCO-EMILIAN SNAPHANCE PISTOL
Late 18th century
With three-stage iron barrel (patched), octagonal breech with maker's stamp (illegible) and ten other brass-filled marks, flat bevelled lock (steel replaced) engraved with foliage, and retaining traces of signature on the inside, ebonised full stock, iron mounts including spurred pommel and trigger-guard engraved with foliage, and later ramrod (restocked and partly remounted)
