A Chinese gilt bronze tripod censer and pierced cover with recumbent caparisoned elephant finial, upright elephant head and trunk handles and similar legs, the body inset with coloured glass and decorated in relief with scrolling lotus flowers and leaves, the pierced cover with dense foliage, the rims with key-fret borders -- 11¼in.
