A large Ming lacquered and giltwood model of a seated Tara
wearing an elaborate crown, jewellery, body ornaments and celestial scarf, holding a lotus spray in each hand, the robes draped in front, the eyes, mouth and other details painted, on a lotus-petal base -- 29.in (73.7cm) high, 16th Century, (old wear and minor damages).
