A Chinese blue and white flaring stem bowl made for the Tibetan Market, painted to the exterior with characters on a ground of lotus flowers and scrolling foliage, the foot with a band of lappets, key fret and geometric designs -- 5¾in. (14.5cm) diam, Qianlong seal mark; and a bowl decorated in underglaze blue and coloured enamels with vases of flowers, feathers and precious objects -- 6¼in. (16cm.) diam, underglaze blue Guangxu six-character mark and of the period.
