unsigned, with mahogany outer body-tube, lens cap and dust slide -- 42in. (106.7cm.) long extended, with folding tripod and two additional eyepieces and correspondence describing the use of the instrument and how to set it up for astronomical observations, addressed to the Right Honourable Lord Tenterden and signed C. Russell, dated April 14th 1829, contained in the original mahogany carrying case -- 12.1/4in. (31.1cm.) wide
