unsigned, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing, located with axis and vernier arm to the vertical support with quadrant silvered scale divided 60°-0°-60°, raised on a graphometer base with swivelling limb incorporating two vernier scales and bubble-level, the horizontal silvered scale divided 210°-0° (x 2), with extension 0°-30° (x 2), the inset compass with silvered circle and needle on jewelled pivot, with two folding sights, on universal staff mounting -- 12.1/4in. (31.8cm.) high
