A large Satsuma deep dish with barbed rim, painted and gilt with a central shaped panel depicting two ducks swimming beneath flowering and blossoming branches, all within a border of smaller panels of further ducks, birds and hares amongst flowers, trees and leaves on a cracked ice ground, the underside with a multitude of butterflies in flight around floral roundels -- 15½in.
