after Clodion, the tapering ovoid bodies cast with figures of amorini emblematic of the Arts and Sciences between bands of foliate ornament, with grapes and vine leaves to the overhanging lips, the scroll handles surmounted by figures of bacchic amorini, on fluted socles with circular bases, French, third quarter 19th century -- 23in.
