A pair of Vienna style claret and foliate gilt ground vases each of shouldered ovoid form with trumpet neck, on pedestal base, painted to each side with oval panels depicting classical figures between shaped gilt ground panels reserved with a mythical figure perched on a shell and wreathed in foliage, the gilt ground base and neck with scrolling bands of flowers between urns, blue beehive mark, 19th century (covers deficient, badly damaged) -- 24cm. high
