A Chinese armorial bowl painted in coloured enamels with central crests surmounted by axe heads and flanked with floral garlands alternating with monograms, all within underglaze blue spear head, hatch and cell pattern borders -- 9in. (22.8cms) diam, 18th century, (small chip and crack to foot, slight enamel wear).
