A Chinese yellow ground dish painted and gilt with cartouches of flowersprays and precious objects, the exterior with further floral roundels and the eight Buddhistic symbols on a yellow ground -- 9½in (24cms) diam, (small section of rim restored); a bowl painted to the exterior in iron red with numerous bats -- 6½in. (16.5cms) diam; and a tea bowl painted in iron red with calligraphic cartouches -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cms) diam, all with Tongzhi four character marks.
