RARE. "Ce livre, où l'auteur conteste les opinions de son temps sur la magie et les sortilèges, fut réimprimé avec le suivant : De fato, libero arbitrio..., Bâle, 1567, par les soins de G. Gratarol, disciple de Pomponazzi. Les Oeuvres de ce dernier impr. à Venise (1625, in-fol.) ne contiennent pas les deux écrits précités." (Biographie Universelle)
This edition is therefore the first and last publication of this work on its own. Moreover, the remarkable typography has retained some features from the gothic incunabula. It was published some thirty years after Pomponazzi's death in 1524 or 1526.
