A VICTORIAN EBONY AND GILT-METAL MOUNTED SIDE CABINET, late 19th century
Of breakfront outline, veneered in brass and inlaid with a marquetry of tortoiseshell with a design of foliate tendrils, the frieze applied with egg-and-dart and foliate mounts, with a central bevelled mirrored door below, flanked to either side by a door, the uprights headed with grotesque masks, the sides and bracketed plinth applied with Bacchanalean figures
